Worcester Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Outside Homeless Shelter

On Sunday, October 11, 2020 at approximately 7:30 PM a Worcester police officer was working a detail at 25 Queen Street when a fight broke out between two males. During the altercation, a 30-year-old male was stabbed. 

The location is SMOC homeless shellter.

The officer observed that the other male, later identified as 25-year-old Antonio Stokes was holding a knife. The officer was able to break up the fight and secure the weapon. The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Worcester Police.

Antonio Stokes of Worcester was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
