Foreclosures in Massachusetts Up 5% From Last Year

Massachusetts is bucking foreclosure trends, but not in a good way. According to FindtheBest.com, the number of foreclosures in the Bay State has gone up 5.65% since a year ago - the opposite direction of where the rest of the country is going.

FindtheBest's study reveals that the average trend across the United States shows that foreclosures are dropping at a rate of 27.81%. Foreclosures in Worcester County are at the second highest rate in the state, coming in at 0.81% and trailing only Plymouth County.
