Member organizations of the newly-formed Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence along with parents of children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT will hold a press conference on Friday, September 13 at 9:30 a.m. at the State House to advocate the need for effective and meaningful changes to the state’s gun laws.

Guest Speakers

Expected speakers include State Senator Cynthia Creem (D-Newton), Representatives David Linsky (D-Natick), Newtown mother Nicole Hockley, whose 6-year-old son Dylan was killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, Reverend and homicide survivor Kim Odom, Reverend Ray Hammond, and Coalition convenor Angus McQuilken.
