New Poll Shows More Support for MA Casinos
Thursday, September 18, 2014
A new poll from the Boston Globe shows that 55-percent of likely voters are currently in support of the 2011 law that legalized casinos in Massachusetts, while 36-percent would like to see the law repealed.
A previous poll by the Boston Globe showed a narrower gap for casino support; during late August, only 51-percent were in favor of casinos while 42-percent were opposed.
The poll had a sample size of 407 likely voters and was conducted from September 14-16. The margin of error is 4.85-percent. Voters will decide in November whether the law stands or is repealed.
