The Second Revolution Will Commence in Massachusetts

Monday, March 05, 2012

Super Tuesday is fast approaching; this year the date is tomorrow, March 6, 2012. On this day Massachusetts and nine other states will be holding primaries or caucuses to choose a presidential candidate. Please do not take this opportunity lightly. Apathetic and complacent citizens have duly contributed to the gross economic peril we are in, sitting idly by, while elected officials rape and pillage our liberties while flouting our freedoms.

Americas financial security has been hijacked by self-serving, holier than thou Washington elites, who in their quest to serve the good of their country have successfully corrupted our Constitution, destroyed our liberties and limited our freedoms. Fiscal and monetary policies are deceiving and cheating the rights of future generations. Foreign and military policies are destroying our national security and eroding our prosperity.

Washington, Jefferson, Madison and Franklin recognized that the natural order of any government is insidious encroachment because people, by their very nature, are not virtuous. The founders created the Constitution to strictly limit the powers and authority of government should those elected become universally corrupt. How prophetic they were.

535 entrenched politicians have led us into a $15 trillion abyss, soon to be over $16 trillion, and no amount of political compromise, “balanced approach,” or “shared sacrifice” is adequately addressing the sources of the debt & deficit dilemma emanating out of Washington, D.C

Bold and behemoth strategies that include fundamental and structural changes are necessary to alter the stagnant economic climate and gridlocked political climate. The American people want to hear specific solutions and they want to see real results

When considering which ballot to pull and which box to check on Super Tuesday there is only one obvious choice, Republican, Ron Paul. I have watched 12 Republican debates. The field is down to four from ten. Only Ron Paul comprehends the enormity of the problem, that government has overstepped its constitutional boundaries and usurped the liberties of the citizens of the United States. He has said at every debate that the government spends too much money, abuses it monetary policy by inflating the currency, abuses its fiscal policy by manipulating the market, stifles free enterprise with intrusive regulations delegated by departments and agencies that defy the constitution and intervenes in foreign affairs by spending money that we don’t have. He can see that our explosive debt and atrophic economy are dangling on a precipice.

Ron Paul is winning the argument on simple facts. The free market has been sabotaged by a government that is too big and spends too much money. The mischief of big government has crushed the message of the market and the massive expansion of statism has suffocated federalism. Remember the first Revolution? It was a fight to achieve freedom. The men in Washington’s army fought to escape the tyranny of an oppressive government, without pay! It was a grand experiment in foresight, fortitude and freedom.

We the people then built this country on a revolutionary concept of liberties that promoted personal ambitions and self-interest. Limited government, individual responsibility, and free markets allowed people to better their condition. We created the greatest country in the world by working hard and taking risks always striving for reward in the form of personal or monetary prosperity.

Two Critical Questions

Doctor Brion McClanahan, author of The Founding Fathers Guide to the Constitution, The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers and Forgotten Conservatives in American History is often asked two questions in interviews:

1. Would the founding fathers recognize the modern government in Washington, D.C.? “The answer is yes, they would recognize tyranny, that Barack Obama has more power than King George III ever had.”

2. Which GOP candidate would the founders support?
“The answer is simple: Ron Paul. It would be the man who has the best understanding of the Constitution and its original intent. Paul’s foreign policy meshes perfectly with Washington’s Farewell Address, the Monroe Doctrine and the way the first five presidents conducted foreign affairs. “Non-intervention” is not isolation; like the Founders, Paul believes that peaceful trade is preferable to war. Paul’s views on domestic policy — low debt, low taxes, limited spending, sound money — were supported by most of the founding generation.”

“If American “conservatives” held true to their respect of the founding generation and the founding principles of the United States, then the choice this primary season would be easy. Paul would be leading by double digits.”

Of the four million registered voters in Massachusetts today, 52 percent are not affiliated with a political party. This is an 11 percent increase from 1982 when unenrolled voters totaled 41 percent.

In 1982, there were 45 percent registered Democrats; today there are 37 percent. Registered Republicans totaled 14 percent in 1982; today there are 11 percent. Ron Paul has a “Plan to Restore America.” He knows he is an underdog and that the likelihood of winning the nomination is slim, but he will march on with an enlightened band of devout followers, like George Washington did with his ragtag, half-naked, and starving continental army.

George Washington is a patriot whose legacy lives on. Ron Paul is a patriot whose legacy is just beginning. The second Revolution has begun! Today we must fight to protect freedom. Massachusetts primary allows unenrolled voters to choose either a republican or democrat ballot. It is possible but not probable that 62% of voters will choose Ron Paul.
