To assess and rank New England's colleges based on reported criminal activity, GoLocal utilized the public data available from the US Department of Education's Campus Safety and Security Statistics website database, to which crime statistics are submitted annually, via web-based data collection, by all secondary institutions that receive Title IV funding (in other words, those colleges that participate in federal student aid programs).

Tech giant Google may offer round-the-clock service but its workers get to snooze – in the middle of the day. And the company’s not alone. Other big brand like Ben & Jerry’s as well as a growing number of smaller employers are encouraging workplace naps as a way to boost productivity. In fact, a study conducted by the National Sleep Foundation revealed that 34% adults polled are allowed to take workday rest.

A Facebook page was launched this weekend calling for Embattled State Representative John Fresolo (D-Worcester) to resign.
Last week, GoLocalWorcester learned that John Fresolo was reportedly under Ethics Committee review and that the allegations include that he took photographs of of his genitals and distributed those photos in the state workplace.
