NEW: RI Foundation Grants $3.4 Million in Second Quarter of 2011

The Rhode Island Foundation announced today that $3,394,856 in grants were awarded to local nonprofit agencies during the second quarter of 2011 through its discretionary grant programs. The Foundation’s president and CEO, Neil D. Steinberg, said the organization has granted a total of $4,627,108 in discretionary grants this year, and a total of $12.5 million so far in 2011 from all funds.
