Bob Lobel to be Radio Play-by-Play Man for Worcester Bravehearts

Former GoLocalWorcester Sports columnist Bob Lobel will serve as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Worcester Bravehearts home games this season on WCRN.

This will mark Lobel's return to Worcester after writing for GoLocal in 2012.

Lobel serves as the public address announced for the Boston Red Sox and is a star in the team's internet show "Back and Forth With Bob Lobel."

He also can be found on Suite Sports where he writes a column. 

Throughout his career, Lobel has covered Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cup and NBA Finals, as well as the Boston Marathon and other events. 

Bravehearts Season Set to Begin 

The Bravehearts come into the 2016 season looking to win their third straight championship. Worcester opens their season on the road before raising their Championship Banner prior to their home opener against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs on Friday, June 3rd. 

Worcester Bravehearts 

The Worcester Bravehearts baseball team is owned and operated by the Creedon family, who also own and operate Creedon and Co., Inc., a catering & tent and event rental equipment company in Worcester, MA. The Bravehearts ballclub is a franchise in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). The Bravehearts won the FCBL Championship in 2014 and 2015.
