NEW: Boston Celtics Select Jaylen Brown With 3rd Pick in NBA Draft

The Boston Celtics selected Jaylen Brown out of California with the third pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday night in Brooklyn. 

Brown averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds per game for California and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the year. 

Brown shot 47% from the field , 65% from the free throw line and averaged 3 turnovers per game. 

The Celtics have two more picks in the NBA Draft's first round.
