Tom Brady Ranked #2 in 2015 Quarterback Power Rankings

Tuesday, September 01, 2015

A 2015 power ranking of NFL quarterbacks has placed New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as the second best QB in the league.

Last season, Brady ranked fourth in the league in total Quarterback Rating with a rating of 74.6. According to sports data experts PointAfter, Brady's 2015 season should see him ranking only behind Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

PointAfter says: "You could rank Brady No. 1, and I wouldn't argue. New England's golden boy joined Terry Bradshawand Joe Montana as the only QBs in the four-ring club. One more Super Bowl, and he'll stand alone as the most decorated gunslinger of all time. However, these power rankings are based on the current standing of each quarterback. And though Brady's 2014 campaign was excellent, he still ranks lower than one player by the thinnest of margins."

Here are the Top 10 Quarterbacks according to PointAfter:

  • 1. Aaron Rodgers
  • 2 Tom Brady
  • 3. Tony Romo
  • 4. Peyton Manning
  • 5. Russell Wilson
  • 6. Andrew Luck
  • 7. Drew Brees
  • 8. Ben Roethlisberger
  • 9. Philip Rivers
  • 10. Matt Ryan
