Alzheimer’s Association to Host Free Workshop Addressing Dementia-Related Behaviors

The Alzheimer's Association will present a workshop on behaviors associated with dementia on Monday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alzheimer's Association. 

Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior offers information to help decode behavioral messages and identify common behavior triggers. Participants will learn strategies to help intervene with the most common behavioral challenges with dementia.

The workshop comes as part of Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness month which spans the month of June.

The Alzheimer Association provides services and programs for those with Alzheimer’s, family and professional caregivers in the form of support groups, a 24/7 Helpline, care consultation, advocacy efforts, research funding and education programs.
