Wyatt
Wyatt is a typical young goofball pittie mix. He's good-natured and energetic and he loves to play fetch, go for walks and play with his toys. He's great in the car and he uses a heavy-duty crate like a champ. Wyatt loves giving kisses and he enjoys petting, getting as much in your lap as possible and getting belly rubs. Wyatt is highly food motivated and tries to convince people that he hasn't eaten for days, despite our knowledge to the contrary. However, despite his ravenous eating habits he does sit patiently like the goodest boy while his food is being prepared.

Tobey
These giant ears belong to Tobey! Tobey is a 3-year-old male chihuahua who is ready for his forever home! Tobey is about 20lbs, which is much too large for his little frame! His new owners will need to get him on a diet and exercise program quickly. This shouldn't be hard as Tobey LOVES being outside running around, hanging out with other dogs, and just being active in general.

Summer
Hi, my name is Summer!
According to my DNA test I’m part cattle dog and boxer! My foster parents say they
“love me to pieces.” Not sure what that means, but I think it’s a good thing. I’m a pretty, young girl who loves to be petted and weigh 35-40 pounds. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, have all my shots and spayed. I’m ready to go!

Sadie
My name is Sadie and I am about 5 years old. I’m a 55 lb pittie mix (I think!) and really want to be your new best friend. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, including heartworm and flea/tick and I’m already spayed.
I love to play and I have so much energy and really want to be on the trails, out running, or going on adventures! The couch might be my new favorite place when I'm in the house though! I’m okay with the other dogs that live in my foster home.

Rufus
Do you like big mutts with huge smiles? If so, I am your man! Weighing in at 85 lbs of love I am the largest lap dog you could ever hope to meet. Yep, you read that right! I just love to sit in my foster dad's lap. It was love at first sight for me.
At just 3 years old, I am in doggie adolescence. Like all adolescents I need patience and consistent training to mature into the awesome dog I am destined to be.

Abby
Abby is a beautiful medium-haired cat. She started off very shy and scared, but she has become more comfortable after being in a foster home. Because she wasn't around humans when she was a ktiten, she is still wary of new people and can't be picked up yet. But once she's comfortable, she is a bundle of energy, and loves to play and get head nuzzles. We've noticed she becomes more brave if treats are involved! Abby is looking for a patient adopter who will give her time and space to acclimate to her new surroundings and continue to come out of her shell.

Boots
This is handsome 12-year-old Boots, who is bonded with his sister, the aptly named Puss! She is the gorgeous tabby in the last photo. They both were surrendered recently by a loving owner who was not able to care for them any longer.
Boots is the more relaxed of the two. Since coming to the shelter he has been very good-natured and friendly, though he doesn't like being confined and is very eager to explore. He doesn't mind being picked up and seems to love attention of any kind.

Mia
Mia is a beautiful long-haired cat who looks like a watercolor painting. She has a gentle and sweet temperament and loves nothing more than to be curled up in a warm place, be that in her favorite cat bed or on some blankets in the sun. Don't be fooled, she also loves to play! She is very partial to little mice that make sounds when they move. If you twirl it around her, she goes immediately into huntress mode. She is still getting warmed up to her new foster home since she had been in the same house for 8 years previously, but she is making great strides and has already had several purring sessions on her foster mom's chest.

Miley
Miley is a 4-year-old tabby whose owner passed away. This poor girl was living on her own with someone stopping by to check in on her so who can blame her for being a bit wary and unsure about whether she wants to be petted or left alone. Losing your purrson can do that to you, but we believe that given some time to get her self-confidence back, the inner Miley (who's as beautiful as the exterior Miley), will emerge.

Puss
Puss has been a bit nervous and grouchy since coming to the shelter, but her previous owner assures us that at home she was social, vocal, and slept on her bed every night. Despite these changes, she is accepting of pets and has been cautiously checking out her new surroundings. So far she's enjoying finding little hideaways to tuck herself into when she's not patrolling the space.
