DON’T MISS: Central MA Lyme Foundation’s Kickoff Fundraiser at the Wine Vine
Wednesday, April 02, 2014
Selected bottles of wine from their store selection will be sold and $5 from each bottle will go the foundation. There will be door prizes and music.
The foundation, formed by Ken and Michele Miller, has a mission to help each other heal physically and emotionally from Lyme and tick-borne diseases in all their complexity. To help each other end the social, psychological and medical isolation that is so often a part of these diseases and to help prevent Lyme and associated tick-borne diseases by supporting research and education.
"This is the kick-off event for our new nonprofit that was recently by my husband, Ken and I in honor of my Mom, Jeanne Cloutier who lost her battle with late stage lyme disease in February, 2013," said Michelle Miller. "Unfortunately we saw firsthand the devastating effects of this disease and reading in my Mom's journals, her isolation and despair."
