Fruitlands Hosts Food For Thought Film Series and WinterFest

This winter the Fruitlands Campus in Harvard, MA. will present The Food for Thought Film Series and host outdoor WinterFest. 

Food For Thought Film Series

The Food for Thought Film Series includes the screening of three documentary films, lively discussion, and Harvard's own Chef Paul's homemade soups. The films will be "Y.E.R.T. (Your Environmental Road Trip),"  "The Cherokee Word for Water," and "Cave of Forgotten Dreams."  "Y.E.R.T" will screen on Wednesday, January 21, 7-8:30pm, "The Cherokee Word for Water" will be Wednesday, February 18, 7-8:30pm, and "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" will be on Wednesday, March 18, 7-8:30pm. 

Admission to the films in the Fruitlands Museum at 102 Prospect Hill Road, Harvard, MA. will be free, and each bowl of soup will be $5.

WinterFest

Also in 2015, Fruitlands will be hosting WinterFest. Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-5pm through March 19 you can bring your sleds, snowshoes, and cross-country skis to explore the 210 acres surrounding the museum. This includes 2.5 miles of walking trails and views of the Nashua River Valley.

If you are more interested in keeping warm, visit the Art Gallery to view the centennial exhibition '100 Objects, 100 Stories, 100 Years' at Fruitlands Museum.

Admission for WinterFest is free for members and $5 per person for nonmembers.
