Garth Brooks Returns to Worcester for 1st Time in Over 19 Years

Garth Brooks will make his first appearance in Worcester in more than 19 years during his world tour with Trisha Yearwood on Saturday, February 27th at 7 p.m. at the
DCU Center.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 18th at 10 a.m. There is an 8 ticket limit and tickets can be purchased here.
The World Tour
The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood started in September of 2014 to support Brooks' album Man Against Machine. The tour marks Brooks' first multi-city tour in 13 years.
The stop in Worcester will be part of the fourth leg of the tour out of five total legs, all taking place in the United States.
Garth Brooks
Garth Brooks is the best selling artist of the 20th century, as announced by the Recording Industry Association of America.
As of May 2014, Brooks' total album sales has reached 69,544,000 copies, putting him ahead of the Beatles, Metallica and Mariah Carey.
Brooks is the winner of 2 Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards and the RIAA Award.
Brooks is known for songs such as Friends in Low Places, Shameless, The Fever and others.

Karen and her brother Richard Carpenter were born in New Haven Connecticut and formed the band The Carpenters.
The Carpenters first single was a cover of a Beatles song, A Ticket to Ride and made it to #54 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Carpenters second album offered two major hits, (They Long to be) Close to You, and We've Only Just Begun. Those two songs made it #1 and 2 on the charts.

Dropkick Murphys
