As a busy mom, it is difficult to balance a busy daily schedule while still finding the time to stay in shape.
Often, moms have a particularly hard time taking care of themselves because they are so used to taking care of their families.
But taking care of your body is vital to supporting good overall health, "I do a lot of personal training and 30-40 percent of my clients are women trying to get fit," says Dino Patramanis, owner of CrossFit AC. "[They] have kids, some have never worked out before, and [working out] is their way of feeling young and taken care of."
With all the added health benefits to be gained from exercising - including lowering your risk for diabetes and osteoporosis - getting active is all about releasing stress and getting in tune with your body to promote overall health.
Despite the temptation to be less active as Old Man Winter begins to settle in, it is important to enjoy the activities you participate in to make getting in shape a fun process.
Here are some fun places that feature interactive ways for moms to keep healthy during the colder months.
