Take Over Newport’s Chanler Inn for Under $3,000

Saturday, November 13, 2010

Now's the time to fulfill a Gatsby dream, and do it with your 10 or so closest friends.

The Chanler Inn, Newport's grand boutique hotel which just snagged Conde Nast Traveler's #1 Small Hotel in America Reader's Choice laurels, has the deal of the season. While the inn remains open to the public on the weekends, a new "Exclusive Use" package allows guests to take over the mansion at greatly reduced room rates, for a minimum of five rooms and a food and drink minimum.

It's an amazing deal: for $259 per room, and a nominal food and beverage program, the run of the mansion is yours. Further, if you'd like to host a dinner in the Spiced Pear restaurant and bar featuring the creations of Executive Chef Thomas Duffy, it's a $1,500 fee. Fundamentally, for several thousand dollars, you'll craft a luxury winter getaway the likes of which you, and your

very happy, very grateful friends, will never forget. That takes the discontent out of winter.

The Chanler Inn's Exclusive Use package is available Nov 28 through Apr 1, 2011, excluding Dec. 24, 2010 – Jan. 1, 2011). For more information, contact the Chanler at 866-793-5664 or visit the Web site, here.
