Baker Will Be Keynote Speaker for 50th Anniversary of Worcester Organizations

Governor Charlie Baker will be the keynote speak at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Worcester Community Action Council and the Worcester Business Development Corporation. Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito will also be in attendance at the joint celebration.

Congressman James McGovern will be honored with the 2015 Bowditch Economic Development Award while National Grid and Mirick O’Connell will be acknowledged as 2015 Community Action Heroes.

The celebration kicks off at 5 PM on Thursday, May 21 at Worcester City Hall Plaza. The evening will feature a cocktail hour followed by a speaking program.
