BREAKING: Stephanie Fattman Wins Register of Probate in Giant Upset

BREAKING NEWS: Republican Stephanie Fattman has won the Register of Probate seat for Worcester County in a huge upset over incumbent Stephen Abraham. Fattman, 26 years of age, is in her third year at Suffolk University Law School.

Stephanie Fattman joins her husband, Ryan Fattman (R) in victory this evening. Mr.Fattman defeated long-time incumbent Richard Moore(D) for the South Central Massachusetts State Senate Seat.

On Monday, GoLocal reported that according to a report released by the Administrative Offices of Probate and Family Courts, Worcester’s Probate Court, with the least-staffed Registry per case filing, was the most cost effective in the state. Abraham's Worcester’s Probate Court was also has the highest percentage of domestic relations cases.

In a radio interview with Jordan Levy on WTAG, Mrs. Fattman discussed her issues with how Abraham ran his office. Fattman said that management is lacking and the office’s technology is unsuitable for the people of Worcester County. Fattman described Abraham's office as a “free-for-all.” “Phone calls aren’t being answered, documents are being misplaced,” said Fattman. “There are gaps right now. People aren’t properly trained."

Fattman told Levy that Abraham’s staff is not able to service individuals as needed. “A lot of time is spent finding files. It’s a huge, huge problem in this court,” said Fattman. “Almost all of our files have barcodes on the bottom, and there’s not a scanner in the office.”

Whatever issues Fattman had with Abraham's office, she certainly caught the attention of voters in Worcester County.
