Worcester Man Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl & Heroin

Juan P. Ortiz-Ruiz, 40, was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
The Arrest
On Wednesday, July 26, members of the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit and State Police Detective Unit for Worcester County, along with the Worcester Police Vice Squad and Gang Unit, executed search warrants on a Worcester residence and a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.
As a result of the search warrants, troopers and officers recovered 109 grams of heroin, 41.9 grams of fentanyl, 16.9 grams of cocaine, packaging material, and a large amount of US Currency.
