The now-former candidates made their announcements on Tuesday following the New Hampshire primary.

United States Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) -- who was leading New Hampshire results as of 10:30 p.m. -- Tweeted the following Tuesday night:

Thank you @AndrewYang for running an issue-focused campaign and working to bring new voters into the political process.

I look forward to working together to defeat the corruption and bigotry of Donald Trump.
