I wager that there are a number of people reading this column that remember when there were payphones on the walls of their High School. Since then, someone invented Nintendo 64 and touchscreen laptops and we threw out all of our modems; not necessarily in that order. Back when there were payphones, people used to say really mean and hurtful things to each other. Some people would say really obnoxious things. And still others would make threatening statements. For the most part, these things were never written. And didn't last forever.
