The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for most of the Taunton Forecast Area...excluding Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard-Nantucket-Block Island.  The Watch is in effect from 6 pm Sunday through Noon Monday.  We are expecting episodes of heavy rainfall during this time.  The highest potential is for flooding of Urban and Poor Drainage areas.  There is a lesser chance of flooding of the flashier of the small streams in the area.  Mainstem rivers are expected to remain below flood stage.

Close to 200 people joining in the upbeat festivities. The event focused on conservatives Republicans and Independents.
