Major League Baseball's Opening Night is on Sunday and that means the 2015 Fantasy Baseball season starts too. Every day this week, GoLocal Worcester will list the 10 best fantasy players by each position.
SEE SLIDES BELOW: GoLocal Worcester's 2015 Fantasy Baseball Top 10 Catchers
Today, we look at the Top 10 Fantasy Baseball Catchers.
The list is comprised of the ten catchers that we think will contribute the most offensively for their teams determined by where they bat in the line-up and whether or not they have the opportunity to be the DH on days when they aren't behind the plate.
Here is the schedule for the rest of the week:
Monday: 2015 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers
Tuesday: Top 10 Catchers
Wednesday: Top 10 Starting Pitchers
Thursday: Top 10 Closers
Friday: Top 10 Outfielders
Saturday: Top 10 Corner Infielders

Travis D'Arnaud
Team: New York Mets
D'Arnaud is the Mets' catcher of the future. They hope. 2015 will be his real first shot at playing a full season in the Majors. This could be a huge breakout season for the backstop.
2015 Prediction: .278 AVG, 14 HRs, 62 RBIs

Wilson Ramos
Team: Washington Nationals
Ramos is finally heatlhy. For now. When he is healthy, he can hit and hit consistently. It will be a giant plus for the Nats to be able to rely on Ramos all year long.
2015 Prediction: .308 AVG, 10 HRs, 67 RBIs.

Brian McCann
Team: New York Yankees
McCann is being paid a lot to be a Yankee. And this season he will be counted on more than ever. The Yankees offense looked pedestrian last year and McCann will need to put up big numbers to keep their doubters quiet.
2015 Prediction: .260 AVG, 20 HRs, 71 RBIs

Salvador Perez
Team: Kansas City Royals
Perez is the leader of reigning AL Champs and the Royals will need to get off to a hot start this season to prove that they aren't a flash in the pan team. Perez is key to driving runs and bolsters KC's lineup.
2015 Prediction: .280 AVG, 16 HRs, 75 RBIs

Matt Wieters

In not the most shocking news, Wieters will start the season on the DL with elbow soreness. However, he should be back in the mix before May.

Devin Mesoraco
Team: Cincinnati Reds
Mesoraco hit 25 home runs and drove in 80 runs. With Joey Votto deemed for a bounce-back year in Cincy, Mesoraco will see a lot of pitches batting in the middle of the lineup.

Buster Posey

Posey hit .311 last season with 22 home runs and 89 RBIs. Without question, he was the best catcher in the MLB in 2014.

Evan Gattis
Team: Houston Astros
During the off-season, Gattis was traded from the NL Braves to the AL Astros. Now with the opportunity to DH and play the outfield, Gattis won't have to catch every day and should remain healthy all season. He gets our top spot because he has 30 plus home run power and with Jose Altuve hitting in front of him, Gattis should see plenty of pitches.
2015 Prediction: .265 AVG, 32 HRs, 101 RBIs
