Curt Schilling Fired by ESPN After Anti-Transgender Facebook Post

In a statement, ESPN said "ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated."
After sharing the meme on Tuesday, Schilling then defended it once the controversy ensued by saying "This latest brew ha ha is beyond hilarious. I didn't post that ugly looking picture. I made a comment about the basic functionality of men's and women's restrooms, period.
You frauds out there ranting and screaming about my 'opinions' (even if it isn't) and comments are screaming for "tolerance" and "acceptance" while you refuse to do and be either."
Schilling has since removed the post from his Facebook page.
Previous Issues
This is incident is just one incident in a line of incidents that Schilling has been involved with in relation to his social media posts.
In late August, Schilling was suspended by ESPN and removed from their Little League World Series coverage after a tweet which compared Muslims to Nazis.
