Team spirit
Go ahead and don your team’s shirt. Local sporting goods stores, such as Dick’s in Warwick or any Job Lot will have everything you need in the way of sweatshirts, shirts, and t-shirts. Or grab your old favorite, especially if it’s a proven lucky charm.
Comfort not sloppiness
Instead of baggy jeans opt for slim-fit chords in vibrant tones such as eggplant, garnet, or forest green. Games last a long time and you want to feel good so nothing too binding either.
Be unique with stylish accessories. Don’t shy away from a pretty extra-large bangle and some hot new earrings. Look for interesting and inexpensive pieces at TJ Maxx. Find colorful faux gems in your team’s colors. Wear something you wouldn’t normally choose especially if you’re dressing in matching togs with other guests.
Make-up
Don’t eschew makeup just because it’s a sporting event. Highlight your eyes with colorful shadows and liners that you wouldn’t dare wear to the office. Now’s the time to try a fresh lilac eye shadow or a frosty purple liner which will look young and hip. Outline lips but fill in with a pretty lip-gloss for super shine power. Find chic and cheap drugstore brands to play with. CVS has tons of low-cost and underrated makeup lines tucked away on endcaps.
Decorated nails are a huge trend right now. Rhode Island has manicurists on every corner. Find one that has your team’s decals. Or go with a posh and glittery mani that really stands out. Blue sparkles may declare your team better than any t-shirt. Ulta has a plethora of nail colors and glitter polishes. Try a pale base polish and then paint on snowy wintry sparkles. Anything that’s cute and stands out.
Scent
Don’t forget a spritz of your favorite fragrance for the pure sexiness factor. It also lends that little touch of femininity in an otherwise male dominated arena.
