Vision Advertising Takes on Worcester Animal Rescue League for Free

Wednesday, June 04, 2014

Vision Advertising has brought on the Worcester Animal Rescue League (WARL) as a free client.

Provide free marketing services

The Worcester-based internet marketing company has provided free marketing services for the local animal shelter.

Laura Briere, CEO of Vision Advertising, wanted to donate her company's services to a non-profit she believed in. Her passion for animal welfare led her to contact Allie Tellier, the Executive Director of the Worcester Animal Rescue League.

“When Laura first called me and offered to help with our marketing, I couldn’t believe it,” said Tellier. “The need of the animals is always our top priority, and often an expensive one, which means our marketing efforts get pushed to the back burner. We understand how vital marketing is to the success of our organization, and we are very lucky that Vision Advertising chose to help us so we can continue helping more animals!”

Positive impact that goes both ways

Vision Advertising built WARL an optimized website, created videos about some of the animals up for adoption, and assisted with both Facebook and event marketing.

“This experience has been so rewarding,” says Briere. “Since we began this partnership 4 months ago, we’ve seen such a positive impact- in more ways than one. Members of my team have even started helping the shelter in their personal time! I hope that we can help even more people learn about the shelter and what they’re doing to improve the lives of animals and humans alike.”

Tanner

Hi! My name is Tanner. I am a 4 year old neutered male, fawn colored Chihuahua. I weigh in at 10 lbs. I am a quiet guy who likes to snuggle in blankets. I am good with other dogs and would love to have a canine pal. I recently had surgery to correct a problem with my knees. Right now I am very sore but with bed rest, medicine and leash walks only, I expect to be better than ever in about 6 weeks. I am hoping that once I am better, I can become a permanent member of a loving family. I am up to date on all shots, am negative for Heartworm and come microchipped. I would love to be your little snuggle bug.

Abbey

Abbey is the sweetest dog you will ever meet! She is a low-energy, beautiful mixed breed who longs to be the perfect addition to a loving family. This mellow, 55 pound bundle of warmth is a great bed side companion. One of her favorite activities is lounging on the couch with her family. She will lay down right next to you and stay there for hours. When she cannot snuggle up next to a family member, she happily flops down on the floor or her blanket. Abbey is an obedient and friendly girl who also enjoys a game a fetch, going for walks, and any fun activity in your yard. She just loves to be around people of all ages. Abbey is very calm especially when she gets to know you. When my family and friends come over, they always comment on how well behaved and quiet she is.

This 6 year old grey dog is highly food and word motivated. She is about 50 lbs. She's highly in tuned with emotions so she loves to be happy when you are happy. She has mastered SIT, DOWN, WAIT, and GIVE. She is house and crate trained and good on a leash. Although she is crate trained, her foster has almost never used it because she is so well mannered in the home. Her eagerness to please people allows her to be trainable as she will require continued training with dog and cat aggression. Overall, Abbey is a deserving girl who makes a wonderful pet for any loving family or individual.

Onyx

HI I'm Onyx,

I'm looking for a new home with a nice family to love me and take me on short walks twice a day. I'm not picky any family would do I like kids cats and dogs but if a cat hisses at me I might bark at them at first. Once we get to know each other I'll sleep on the floor and let the cat have my bed. I need a nice big soft bed and short walks daily because sometimes my hips bother me. Since I have started to loose weight my hips have gotten much better and I can jump and give paw now. Unfortunately the vet says I need to eat diet food and absolutely no table scraps. I am a very good boy I'm completely house trained I know, sit, paw, and go lay down. I would never have an accident in the house. If I have to go out I'll whine at the door.

Minnie

Say hello to Minnie! Good things come in little packages, and this little girl is an extroverted, animated peanut. Minnie is around 10 years old, but you would never know that was her age if we didn't give it away! She is a very sweet dog who loves everyone in her foster family, including two other small dogs.

Minnie loves to explore her yard (and is house broken), loves her tiny bottom scratched, and loves to play chase with her foster siblings. She is scheduled to be spayed and have a small mammary tumor removed. Minnie would make an excellent companion dog for any family, but because she is so tiny, she would do best with older children who would be careful where they step. Minnie is not yappy, nor does she bark much at all. She would love to meet you at her foster family’s home in Worcester, MA. Fill out an application for Minnie and drop by for a visit!
