Butterbean
I'm Butterbean, an adorable young, neutered male chihuahua mix with a contagious smile. I am 2 years old and a pipsqueak. I only weigh 9 lbs.
Butterbean loves the ladies but is not so fond of men or children. Butterbean has been traumatized in his past so he's afraid of men and teenage boys. He needs a home with an experienced, patient woman who understands that this little guy needs time to settle in and feel secure. He's an affectionate boy when he accepts you. He likes other dogs so a dog buddy would be great. He loves to go for a walk and gets excited when he sees the leash. Playing fetch is his favorite game but he's not so good at giving up the ball! Butterbean sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Up to date on all his shots, negative for heart worm and Lyme and micro-chipped too.

Candy
Happy Spring! I'm Candy. My name suits me because I am so sweet. All the goodness of candy without any of the side effects. I won't rot your teeth or add to your waistline. I have loads of experience being a loving pet. 10 years old and about 15 pounds, I am a great choice for apartment living and would be an ideal companion for a retired person or someone who works from home. I have lived a sheltered life and can be a bit timid in new situations. I can walk nicely on a leash but am subject to freezing up if I encounter something scary (other dogs, cars, strangers).

Phoebe
This little princess is Phoebe! Weighing in at 6.4 pounds of cuteness, Phoebe is about 5 years old and came into rescue when her previous owner passed away. She is very sweet, mostly quiet (until it's feeding time!), and loves to be held and pampered by someone she knows.
She seems jealous of other dogs getting attention, so it's possible not every other dog is a match for her. From what we've been able to see so far, she seems okay with kids and cats. She appears to be crate trained and pee pad trained, and is overall a very nice little dog.

Sophia
Sophia is a very, very sweet 4-6 year old chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds. She gets along well with dogs and cats, but all she really wants is to be with her person. Sophia follows her foster mom everywhere and at night will dance on her back legs to get her mom over to the couch where they can snuggle together. Sophia will come running from anywhere in the house when she hears her name called! Sophia is good with the teenagers in her foster home, but like many small delicate dogs, she would prefer a home without small children.

Summer
My name is Summer, and I'm a sweet, energetic one year old mixed breed (pittie? lab? kelpie? it's a mystery!) who loves people. I weigh in at a handy 35 lbs. You may have noticed my magnificent ears! They're very beautiful, aren't they?
Here's the deal. I am fit and energetic so I do need a home that can meet my exercise needs. Once I get my zoomies out I am ready to follow you around the house and hang out. I am also very smart and curious. My dream is an active owner who can provide the time, predictability, and structure that I thrive with. I need a backyard with a physical fence (not an invisible fence)-- I'll happily go running with you, but I need to play in an open space as well. I am very food motivated, and I will learn what you want very quickly!

Chester
Chester is a handsome, energetic, orange fellow who is looking for his fur-ever home. Chester enjoys hunting toys, eating, purring loudly, and watching you cook. He is also a polydactyl cat, with extra toes — more to love! He has a big personality, and will chat with you if he’s seeking attention or a snack. He can play a little rough and may nip if he gets overstimulated, so it's best to go slow and read his cat signals. Chester would do best in a home with patient and experienced cat people. Chester is looking for a home as the King of the household and would do well as the only cat.

Zane
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Zane has hyperthyroidism that is controlled by a medication that he easily takes twice daily in a bit of his food. He is responding well to the medication. Zane has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which is a CAT ONLY disease that decreases the ability of the immune system to fight some infections. FIV+ is not easily passed between cats. It CANNOT be transmitted casually through shared litter boxes, water and food bowls, or when snuggling or playing. FIV is most commonly transmitted via deep bites during cat fights, the virus is present in the saliva of infected cats. With appropriate care and treatment of chronic conditions, most FIV+ cats live long, healthy and relatively symptom free lives.

Tiger
Tiger is an absolute sweetheart. He is a permanent shadow and follows you from room to room. Tiger is about 10 years "young" and acts much younger than his age.
He's generally calm and happy to hang out on the couch or the foot of the bed. He does get a fair amount of of kitten-like zoomies at night during which he chases and hunts various toys. He also loves catnip and being brushed. As you can see from the photos, Tiger is a polydactyl cat so there's extra toes to kiss

Mrs. Maisel
Mrs. Maisel is a darling, affectionate 14 year old with plushy all-black fur and big bright eyes. Her favorite things are love, love, more love, and cheese. She purrs and kneads her round little paws and bonks you with her little round head and wants all the pats. She responds to attention lovingly but with the occasional light love-nip, so she's looking for an adult-only home with people who are used to cat body-language. She enjoys having her silky-soft fur brushed and will make a fabulous companion. She is living in a foster home with several other kitties and a cat-friendly dog.

Jasper
Jasper is a friendly, easygoing 8 year old brown and white tabby. He's a curious, busy boy with places to go and explore -- at the moment, that includes most of all outside of his cage in the Adoption Center. Jasper was surrendered with his female friend, Onyx and is looked for his new forever home.
