Delicious
Take a walk down the aisle and select one (or two) delicious delectables from one of the great chocolatiers.
Dark, milk, or white.
Local shops are great and Godiva never hurt anybody.

Relax
Racing here and racing there. Stop. Deep breath and schedule a stop at one of the areas premier spas for a massage.
Massages have both a spiritual and and physical benefit.
Go alone for peace. Or grab your lover and best friend.

Learn
Learning should really not be a "guilty pleasure" but in the world we live with creating time for new things is hard.
Online or at Clark or WPI or wherever - take a class and continue to explore or learn.

Read
We suggested learning above, now think about pure pleasure reading. Mindless exploration. Take a trip to Africa, tackle a great classic or team up with some total trash novel.
It is all good. One great one is David Shafer's "Foxtrot Whiskey Tango." The New York Times loved it and its written by the husband of one of our editors (full disclosure).

Beat them
Imagine the look on your kids face if you beat them at Madden or COD.
While they are at school turn on the XBOX and practice. Play the computer. Build your skills and then like a snake hidden in the tall grass, challenge them.
Whether you win or lose - you will have earned tremendous respect!

Head to Broadway, literally. Grab a train or a bus first thing in the morning and hit a matinee.
NYC too far or too much on the budget, then enjoy the always tremendous shows at Hanover Theater. Both great and inspiring.

Run
Start running. You run around for everyone else. The fall is a great time to start running.
Get some new running shoes, start slow and enjoy the burn.
With friends or with out, but run for you for once.

A sip
It is good for your heart! Now, you have the excuse to sip, love and learn about wine.

Bake it
Take a few hours and enjoy the time to bake. Not a rush for the holidays, just enjoy the time, the feel and the creativity.
Be creative. Try those most outlandish creative desserts or go old school and bake a wonderful pie.
Remember you can use those apples from the guilty pleasure the other day - apple picking.
