Built in 1772 as a combination store and dwelling for a bachelor-merchant from Boston, Salisbury Mansion is Worcester's only historic house museum and was once home to one of Worcester County's wealthiest families, the Salisburys. Docent lead tours are offered daily to visitors.

Come on down to the Worcester Common Oval for some family friendly skating. Admission for public skating is $2 (children 6 and under skate free) and $3 for skate rentals with a $25 refundable deposit per skate rental.

Keep the kids busy and engaged during December school vacation at Old Sturbridge Village, with a wide range of crafts, entertainment and outdoor activities offered for all ages.
Other vacation week activities include sledding (try our 1830s-style sleds) and sleigh rides (snow permitting).Take part in hands-on activities and see special performances all week long. Try your hand at dipping candles the old-fashioned way.The Village, Tavern, and Gift Shops will all be open throughout the school vacation week.

Help care for the sanctuary and enjoy a few hours of fresh air, fun and fulfillment. Come once or every week and become part of our growing group of sanctuary volunteers. Together with Mass Audubon staff, put up signs and markers, look for wildlife tracks, pick up branches, fill bird feeders, tend the gardens, and distribute program information.
