Weather Service Predicts Up to 6 Inches of Snow Starting Tuesday in Worcester

Get ready for the next storm. The National Weather Service (NWS) modeling has as much as six inches of snow coming to Worcester late Tuesday into Wednesday.

The forecast for “Worcester, Worcester Regional Airport” is for rain on Monday and Tuesday -- before turning to snow Tuesday night.

According to NWS:

Tuesday Night

Rain and snow likely before midnight, then snow and sleet likely between midnight and 2 a.m., then snow likely after 2 a.m. 

New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday

Snow likely before 1 p.m., then isolated snow showers between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Latest Snow Forecast

The snow forecasted would mark the second storm of the season.

On Sunday, December 1 through Tuesday, December 3, Worcester was hit with two bands of snow with a total accumulation of approximately 5 inches.
