Worcester Fire Department to Unveil New Rescue Vehicle

Rescue 1 is a 2017 E-ONE custom built search and rescue command vehicle equipped to respond to an extensive range of specialized emergencies.
The new truck will be unveiled and blessed on Thursday, November 16 at 4 p.m. at Franklin Street Fire Station.
The blessing by Father Riley will be preceded by brief remarks from Mayor Joseph M. Petty, City Councilor Kathleen M. Toomey, Worcester Fire Chief Michael J. Lavoie, and City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr.
