Worcester Police Make Up Nearly 70% of Worcester’s Highest Paid Employees

Of the 250 highest paid city employees in Worcester, 170 of them (68%) are members of the Worcester Police Department. Of the 50 highest paid employees in the city, 44 are police officers. 

Over 2014, the 170 members of the Worcester Police Department in the top 250 highest wage earners in the city received more than $2.6 million in overtime pay.
