According to the report from Wallethub.com, Worcester ranks nearly last in average standardized test scores of the 90 cities, and only spends the 56th most on educating its students per capita.

Three Vehicle Crash on I-290 Results in Worcester Woman Life Flighted to UMass

On Thursday morning, a serious three-vehicle crash occured on Interstate 290 Eastbound in Marlborough. According to Massachusetts State Police, a 1998 Subaru Forester being driven by a 37-year-old Haverhill man with a 34-year-old Worcester woman passenger, struck a tractor-trailer in the left hand lane just before Interstate 495. A Chevy Silverado pickup truck struck the Subaru after it collided with the tractor-trailer.
