New England cut linebacker Ramon Humber, offensive lineman Keavon Milton and tight end Steven Scheu.
The Patriots also placed running back Dion Lewis on and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer on the Reserve/PUP List, which means they will be out for at least the first six weeks of the season.
Patriots placed OT Sebastian Vollmer on reserve-PUP, per source. Theoretically can bring him back but more likely will not play this year.
