Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is reportedly set to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

“Tampa is the expected landing spot for Tom Brady barring anything unforeseen. There's no signing date or announcement officially set up, but Brady is expected to be a Buccaneer,” tweeted Schefter.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Bucs were going to offer Brady at least $30 million per season.

Brady announced that he was leaving the Patriots on Tuesday morning, though he did not say where he was going.

“I don’t know what my football future holds but it is time for me to open a new stage for my life and career. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will always love you and what we have shared," said Brady in a statement on his Facebook page.

The LA Chargers were reportedly the other team that was interested in signing Brady.

NFL free agency is set to officially begin on Wednesday, March 18 at 4 p.m.
