Revs Fall to Timbers 2-0 on West Coast

Sunday, June 07, 2015

The New England Revolution (5-4-6) fell 2-0 to the (6-5-4) Portland Timbers on Saturday night in Portland, Oregon. Despite the loss, the Revs still remain in second place in the Eastern Conference with 21 points.

The match was tied at zero for almost the entire game when Portland's Fernando Adi scored in the 86th minute to put the Timbers up 1-0 late in the match.

Adi would add an insurance marker just three minutes later to seal the 2-0 win for the Timbers.

New England returns to action on Saturday, June 13 when they host the Chicago Fire at Gillette Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
