Research Bureau Announces Thomas Green Public Service Award Winners

The Research Bureau has announced the winners of the 2016 Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards. The awards honor public servants who illustrate exceptional competence, enthusiastic performance, cooperative attitude, and community involvement.

The Research Bureau started handing out the award in 1988.

The award winners are:

  • James Beauregard - Auburn Department of Public Works
  • Cathy Flink-Harrison - Worcester Public Schools
  • Patricia Hainsworth - Worcester Senior Center
  • Brian Hickey - Holden Municipal Light Department
  • Sgt. Miguel Lopez - Worcester Police Department

 

The Research Bureau will hold a public ceremony and reception to honor the award recipients on Thursday, April 14 at 5 p.m. at Assumption College's La Maison Francaise.

Both the ceremony and reception are free and open to the public.
