Worcester Mom Gives Birth To Twins During Blizzard

According to a report by ABC News, Strickland said," Contractions came out of nowhere. There was no warning at all. They were so strong, I just got the sudden urge to push."
Strickland, who was 35 weeks pregnant, went into labor during the 3rd worst snowstorm the city of Worcester had ever seen. The city totaled 31 inches of snow by the end of Tuesday.
As the report states, Strickland's five-year-old daughter
Strickland, 28, a homemaker with three other children, told ABC, "I was so scared. My first call was to my children's father to let him know that his children made it into the world."
Strickland's newborns were born premature and they will remain at UMass for at least 10 days.
