Zeke

Zeke is a sweet 2 year old rat terrier who is currently 22 lbs (don't tell him, but he should probably slim down a bit).

Zeke is a quick learner-- he already knows sit and down and is working on come. Like most terriers, he can have his own ideas about things, and he's energetic and loves to chase the squirrels and rabbits in the back yard. He's an active boy who likes to play tug with his sock toy and gets very excited for walks. He will be happiest with active exercise every day.

Tasha

Want a mini-German Shepherd? Then Tasha is your girl. She's petite - about 14 lbs and young - about two years old. She's OK with dogs, just a bit submissive at first. She's new to our rescue so we're learning her personality as time goes by.

Butterbean

I'm Butterbean, an adorable young, neutered male chihuahua mix with a contagious smile. I am 2 years old and a pipsqueak. I only weigh 9 lbs.

Butterbean loves the ladies but is not so fond of men or children. Butterbean has been traumatized in his past so he's afraid of men and teenage boys. He needs a home with an experienced, patient woman who understands that this little guy needs time to settle in and feel secure. He's an affectionate boy when he accepts you. He likes other dogs so a dog buddy would be great. He loves to go for a walk and gets excited when he sees the leash. Playing fetch is his favorite game but he's not so good at giving up the ball! Butterbean sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Up to date on all his shots, negative for heart worm and Lyme and micro-chipped too.

Pippi & Gucci

Pippi and Gucci are a bonded pair - and don't they make the perfect duo! Pippi is a 10 y/o female weighing 5lbs and Gucci is a 10 y/o male weighing 10lbs. They are both white long-haired chihuahuas. 

They love to hang out together and are often found huddled up for a nap in their doggie bed or crate. They are both crate trained and housebroken, very affectionate and good with other dogs. Gucci always has a protective eye on his good friend Pippi, watching to make sure she is okay when humans are fussing over her. He doesn't mind seeing her get fawned over, but he likes to be nearby in case she needs any comfort from him, as it's clear that she is more at-ease when he's around.

Sophia

Sophia is a very, very sweet 4-6 year old chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds. She gets along well with dogs and cats, but all she really wants is to be with her person. Sophia follows her foster mom everywhere and at night will dance on her back legs to get her mom over to the couch where they can snuggle together. Sophia will come running from anywhere in the house when she hears her name called! Sophia is good with the teenagers in her foster home, but like many small delicate dogs, she would prefer a home without small children.

Zane

Zane is a great guy! He spent a lot of time outside and he takes a while to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, it’s all pets, purrs, and cheek scratches. He can’t get enough. He's got a luxuriously soft coat that is a pleasure to pet.

Mrs. Maisel

Mrs. Maisel is a darling, affectionate 14 year old with plushy all-black fur and big bright eyes. Her favorite things are love, love, more love, and cheese. She purrs and kneads her round little paws and bonks you with her little round head and wants all the pats. She responds to attention lovingly but with the occasional light love-nip, so she's looking for an adult-only home with people who are used to cat body-language. She enjoys having her silky-soft fur brushed and will make a fabulous companion. She is living in a foster home with several other kitties and a cat-friendly dog.

Sassafras

Pretty Princess Sassafras is such a poser! Just look at this absolutely gorgeous kitty posing for the camera! This diva will give you her best shot, her sexy pose, and even a silly tongue out picture.

Sassafras wants nothing more than to sit by her human’s side and purr the day away. She purrs constantly and loves being around humans. She will greet you with chirps, make biscuits on your leg, and cuddle with you while you relax.

Chester

Chester is a handsome, energetic, orange fellow who is looking for his fur-ever home. Chester enjoys hunting toys, eating, purring loudly, and watching you cook. He is also a polydactyl cat, with extra toes — more to love! He has a big personality, and will chat with you if he’s seeking attention or a snack. He can play a little rough and may nip if he gets overstimulated, so it's best to go slow and read his cat signals. Chester would do best in a home with patient and experienced cat people. Chester is looking for a home as the King of the household and would do well as the only cat.

Ryebread is a wonderful kitty who'd love nothing more than to spend the entire day by your side the minute you take him home to his forever home!
