Kolbe

Kolbe is very glad to be off the streets and relaxing in his cozy cat cubby with his other cat friends. He loves his human friends too and can't wait to find his forever home!

Olive is a little bit shy at first, but her feather toy is the key to her heart and she warms right up!

Clara

Clara is an extremely sweet girl and a joy to be around, She is very friendly and loves to sit on your lap and will follow when you leave the room. She even enjoys company! Our vets estimated her to be about 5 years old. Clara does have food allergies so she is on a special diet - but she's worth it! Her food is readily found at most pet stores, including Petco and Petsmart.

Della

I'm Della, and I'm friendly and fun! I'm about 6 years old, but I'm so active and playful that my foster mom thought I was much younger. I am also a snuggle bug and will lay on you for petting; my cheeks especially! I was adopted from another shelter by my previous owner about a year ago, but they couldn't keep me, so I need a new family again -- this time forever. I don't love other cats, but I live with one now, and we mostly just ignore each other. I'm diabetic, but don't let that faze you! I just need a quick insulin shot twice a day at mealtimes, and they're not hard to give. And I'm worth it!

Pheasant

Pheasant, like many of our rescues, was once upon a time someone’s pet. He was rescued off the streets after being abandoned for quite a while. As you can see from his pictures, he suffered an eye injury and bares numerous scars from just trying to stay alive. What wasn’t injured was his spirit. He loves to sit on laps when you work, but is polite enough not to walk on your keyboard. While you read, he will cozy in on your chest, purring away. He is neat as can be, no accidents and will sit up for treats.

Mark

Meet Mark, a two year old, 11 pound, JRT / Doxie. Mark has recently joined us at Broken Tail Rescue. His foster home includes a busy family with teenagers, other dogs and a cat. Mark is not crazy about the cat but he is adjusting. Mark enjoys snuggling and playing toys with his new people.

Rocky

Rocky is a cute little guy who just came into rescue. He was found as a stray roaming the streets all alone in the world! The vet said that Rocky is about ten months old so he's still at the puppy stage. Rocky weighs 9 lbs but needs to put on some weight. He's been neutered, microchipped and is current on his vaccines. He's making progress on his crate training and house breaking. He's active and loves to play wrestle with his doggy brother. We don't know how he is with cats or kids but he's not an aggressive type so should be OK. We'll know more about his personality as he settles in.

Patriot

Meet Patriot! He is a 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He’s curious and intelligent, and loves to snuggle in his doggie bed, play with squeakie toys, and follow you around to see what you’re up to.

Liza

Liza is a beautiful 2 year old Boxer girl, with the sweetest disposition ever! She just loves to hang her heavy head over the end of the couch, but is also fine with crating overnight while we house train. She already knows "come", and "stay" but is a little stubborn with the "sit" command. Liza currently weighs 47 lbs but is expected to get up to her normal boxing weight of about 62 - 65 lbs. She is scheduled to be spayed, and is up to date on vaccinations, and is on preventative for heartworm and flea/tick.

Banjo

I'm Banjo! I'm a 9 year old, 60 lb Plott Hound mix and I am sweet, sweet, sweet! I'm great with kids, I'm housebroken and crate trained, and I'm very well behaved. I'm relaxed inside the house and love snuggling on the sofa! I'm not comfortable with other dogs, so I'd rather be your one and only pet.
