Worcester”s Harr Motor Group’s Coats for Kids program distributed more than 320 brand new winter coats to children and families in need on November 24.
At their second annual “Distribution Event” at Friendly House, Harr Motor Group was able to help children stay warm with the help of Operation Warm - a Pennsylvania non-profit who provided the coats in exchange for donations.
The Distribution Event alos provided struggling families with food baskets in time for Thanksgiving.
“This is just the second year of our Coats for Kids program, but it has already become one of our favorite events. We’re very proud to partner with Friendly House and Operation Warm to help take care of local families, the community as a whole and especially children,” said Harr President and General Manager Mike Gross.
Harr Motor Group is also actively involved in supporting local organizations like UMass Medical Center Cancer Center of Excellence, and United Way of Central MA.
