MA GOP Jewish Committee Blasts Warren for Boycotting American Israel Public Affairs Conference

Thursday, March 28, 2019

Elizabeth Warren

The Massachusetts Republican Jewish Committee is blasting U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren on her decision to boycott the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington D.C. this week.

AIPAC has hosted every declared presidential candidate, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, who declined in 2016.

The MA Republican Jewish Committee released the following statement:

“Elizabeth Warren has repeatedly demonstrated that she is no friend of Israel. Her key support for the Obama-Kerry Nuclear Arms Deal and her recent refusal to condemn Minnesota U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, her Democratic Congressional colleague, for her anti-Semitic rhetoric, are just a few of the many examples highlighting the fact that Elizabeth Warren, like many progressives in her Democrat Party, has become increasingly anti-Israel.

It should be noted that at the same time Senator Warren and her fellow Democrat presidential candidates were boycotting AIPAC, President Donald J. Trump, in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, signed an Executive Order formalizing U.S. recognition of Israel's strategic Golan Heights.”
