Auburn’s Kayla Harrity Stars on NESN’s Dirty Water TV

Kayla Harrity, of Auburn, can be seen on Saturday and Sunday nights as a reporter and host on NESN's Dirty Water TV. The show, which airs at 11:30PM, details the nightlife of Boston and the comings and goings of celebrities in the area. 

"The best part is interacting with everyone in Boston," said Harrity, who studied Broadcast Journalism at Emerson College. "From bar owners to patrons, to celebrities like Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg, my favorite part is meeting and interviewing actors and directros, like Joseph Gordon Levitt and Paul Feig, because they are always gracious to give me film advice."

Worcester Remaining Positive in Wake of Telegram Being Sold Again

As reported by GoLocal, on Thursday The Worcester Telegram & Gazette had been sold again. The new owners are GateHouse Media. According to the reports, GateHouse media's parent company, New Media Investment Group, paid $280 million for the Halifax Media Group. 

This is the third time in 14 months the Telegram has been part of a sale. Last summer, Principal owner of the Boston Red Sox, John Henry, purchased the Telegram, along with the Boston Globe, from the New York Times. This past May, Henry sold the Telegram to the Halifax Media Group. Halifax assests includes 36 newspapers and websites. According to a statement released by New Media, the Telegram will strengthen the Northeast presence of GateHouse.
