Patriots Ranked 7th Most Valuable Sports Franchise in World

Patriots are the 7th most valuable sports franchise in the world.

The New England Patriots are ranked as the seventh most valuable sports franchise in the world, according to Forbes Magazine.

According to Forbes, the Patriots have a value of $3.8 billion, ranking them directly behind Manchester United and ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers.

The only NFL team ranked ahead of the Patriots is the Dallas Cowboys, who Forbes ranks as the most valuable sports franchise in the world.

Robert Kraft purchased the Patriots for $175 million back in 1994.

Other Boston Teams on List

The Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox also made the list.

The Celtics come in at 22nd in the world with a value of $2.8 billion.

The Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Lakers, and New York Knicks are the NBA franchises ahead of the Celtics.

The Red Sox are valued at $3.2 billion and take the number 12 spot on the list.

The LA Dodgers and New York Yankees are the only MLB franchises ahead of them.
