MA Gas Prices Rise 4 Cents

“Despite this latest increase at the pump, motorists planning a late summer vacation will see Labor Day prices lower than any time since 2004,” said Mary Maguire, Director of Public and Legislative Affairs for AAA Northeast.
AAA's August 29 survey of prices in Massachusetts finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.11 per gallon.
This price is 11 cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $2.22. A year ago at this time, the average price in Massachusetts was 23 cents higher at $2.34.

Self Serve Grade
$2.11 ($1.99-$2.99) Regular Unleaded
$2.37 ($2.19-$3.09) Midgrade Unleaded
$2.54 ($2.29-$3.19) Premium Unleaded
$2.43 ($2.19-$3.89) Diesel
