StartUp Worcester Winners to be Announced at Reception on May 3

The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Running Start Coworking and The Venture Forum will announce the 12 winners of the next StartUp Worcester 2016-17 Cohort on Tuesday, May 3 at a reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The reception will be held at Running Start Coworking on located 95 Prescott Street in Worcester.
Last Year's Competition
Last year, about 24 applicants competed for 12 spots. Among those selected were three game developers, an agroponics venture whose goal is to grow food more efficiently, and a fashion blog that assists women with owning their professional image by recommending attire and providing fashion forward advice.
StartUp Worcester
StartUp Worcester is entering it's 2nd year and is providing support to help new business while retaining and encouraging recent college graduates.
The program is a combined effort by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Venture Forum and Running Start Coworking.
