Innovation Month Coming to Worcester

Wednesday, March 25, 2015

The Venture Forum has announced Worcester's first annual Innovation Month beginning April 1, 2015 and ending May 7,2015. The events will take place throughout the month and will include a discussion of diabetes research opportunities, a pitch contest, a networking event and the opening of an innovation center downtown.

Innovation month is expected to be an annual event that will celebrate local innovation and introduces the community to the resources, including incubators and accelerators, both of which support Worcester-area entrepreneurs.

Innovation month begins on April 1 at Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives. MBI will host "Diabetes: Our Health, Our Care, Our Future" which will feature presentations by biotech entrepreneurs and researchers.

MBI Gateway Park is located at 60 Prescott Street at 5:30 p.m.
