64-Year-Old Man Crashes Motorcycle into Vacant Building on Mill St

Shortly after 2 PM, Worcester Police officers responded to the former Price Chopper supermarket at 195 Mill Street on a report of a motorcycle crash. When they arrived, officers found the operator on the ground suffering from head trauma and possible internal injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. The victim suffered extensive internal injuries and is in serious condition.
According to the WPD, results of a preliminary investigation revealed that the operator drove straight into a doorway of the boarded up building and came to an uncontrolled stop inside the building.
Worcester Police Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation, processed evidence at the scene, and conducted interviews. The motorcycle was towed from the scene and will have a full mechanical inspection conducted by investigators.
This investigation is ongoing.
