Daisy

Daisy is a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with the sweetest disposition. She came into rescue because her owner was unable to continue to care for her after Daisy began to show symptoms of a health condition. Broken Tail Rescue's mission is to help animals in need. Our intake criteria is based on the availability of a foster home. Daisy has been evaluated by our veterinarian's to determine the source of her symptoms. If you can open your heart to this special girl, please complete an application. Once the test results are in, Daisy's treatment plan and progress will be posted.

Jada is the most adorable 45lb, 8 year old pocket pittie you will ever meet. Jada is extremely people friendly and gets along with everyone immediately. She wins everyone over with her sweet demeanor and unconditional love. If you are looking for a cuddle partner, look no further - Jada is your girl! Jada thinks she is a lap dog and will curl up on your lap or wrap herself in blankets to take a nap.

Hi! My name is Brysco and I love everyone. I’m about two years old so I have lots of energy to do all sorts of fun things with you. My foster mom has been making me use that energy to learn new things and she says I am very smart. I have already learned sit, stay and wait. I really want to make her happy plus it didn’t take me long to figure out that I get yummy treats for doing my new tricks.

Tootsie Roll

My name is Tootsie Roll because I am chocolate brown and sweet as candy. I am 8 years old but you would never guess. Spunky, that's what I am. Tug o'war, fetch, long walks, running around in the yard...I am up for any and all. That is not to say that I am hyper. I like to play but am equally happy to snuggle up with you on the couch. My house manners are exceptional. I behave myself all day while my foster mom is at work. No need for a crate! I am not much of a barker so would be fine for apartment/condo life although a home with a yard or dog park nearby would be a dream come true. Did I tell you that I love other dogs, even big dogs? An easy-going guy, I like all people (men, women, children, large, small, old or young). More than anything, I want a family to love.

Art

Art is a happy go lucky friendly black and white male that follows his foster person around the house and talks a lot. Art once lived in a "hoarding" situation with many cats and he was very afraid when he first came to Broken Tail, having had not enough human interaction. He began to show his true friendly personality within a week and is now quite gregarious! He loves to play, get pets, run around, and relax too. He is a little afraid of hands coming directly at his face, and from time to time will need gentle petting to start the petting session.

Earl

Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more! He is a great companion for someone who likes a cat who is always lounging near by, but not always on your lap. He is affectionate and when he wants your attention he will come to you, but also he takes much content in just being in the room with you. He also enjoys being brushed and the Furminator is his favorite.

Brixton is a very friendly boy with mesmerizing eyes who appreciates pets and attention. He's very curious and loves to explore his surroundings! 

Brixton came into the shelter with his brother, Victor. They're both about one and a half years old and they are not bonded, so they don't need to go home together.

Mouse is a two year-old all black female. She's very curious and friendly! Mouse trusts quickly and easily and loves head pets and human attention. 

Mouse's nose has a small scab on it due to an injury she obtained before coming to Broken Tail Rescue. It's healing nicely!

Micki is a loving orange and white tabby who has white mittens and a beautiful ringed tail. He's eight years old and in the past has done well with other cats and young children.
